    Yala national park is one of the leading tourist destinations in Sri Lanka mainly because of the rich wildlife resources, including the Sri Lankan elephants, leopards, Deer, and others. Yala National park is the oldest national park in Sri Lanka. There is two main entrance in Yala; Palatupana and Kitagawa. The most famous entrance area is Palatupana. The entrance to the park is at Palatupana, 12km from Kirinda. Yala National Park that consists of five blocks is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka.
