Solang valley is located at a distance of 13 km from Manali. This valley offers beautiful views of glaciers and snow-capped mountains and peaks. Solang Valley has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute of Manali has installed a ski lift for training purposes. Located here is a hut and guest house of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute, Manali. The winter skiing festival is organized in Solang Valley. Skiing and Paragliding are two main activities organized here. Apart from this, many other adventure sports are available like Zorbing, Horse riding & Snow Motor Bikes riding, etc.

Once you are done with your breakfast, it is time to begin your excursion to the famous Hadimba Devi Temple. This temple worships Hidimba Devi, wife of Bhima from the Hindu epic Mahabharata. After spending some time here, head to the Vashisht Kund, Tibetan Monastery, and handicraft center. You can also take a walk around the Vashisht village.
