On arrival at the Bandaranayake International airport, you will be warmly greeted by our very own chauffeur guide and transferred to negombo. You can rest of the day free at hotel.

After breakfast you will be proceed to Trincomalee. En-route visiting Replica of Murugan Temple, Manavari and Munneshwaram Temples. Munneswaram predates the Ramayana and a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva was located here. A Shiva Lingam was already here when Lord Rama visited this place. Lord Rama after his victorious battle left for Ayodhya with Sita in one of King Ravana’s Vimanas. Manavari kovil located near to the DeduruOya (river) in Chilaw. This place is the first lingam installed and prayed by Rama, hence to date this lingam is called as Ramalinga Shivan. Rameshwaram is the only other lingam in the world named after Lord Rama.

Day 03 :
Trincomalee

After breakfast you visit the trincomalee. Trincomalee is the capital of the Eastern Province. It has a wide harbor, which is best natural shelters in the world, and has one of the most sacred Tamil temples. Koneswaram temple is a classical-medieval Hindu temple in Trincomalee, it is consider as Hindu religious pilgrimage centre in Eastern Province, Sri Lanka. It was built by Rishi Agastya with the instructions of Lord Shiva who was impressed by the devotion of King Ravana. This place is unique in this respect because the Lord built a temple for his devotee as a reward for his devotion. Ravana Hot water wells are the unique thing to visit in kinniya, trincomalee. There is a legend behind the hot water wells in kinniya. This place where King Ravana carried out the last rites for his mother. When he was unable to find water to duly perform the rites, he in anger pierced his Trishula into the ground seven times.

After breakfast you will be proceed to Kandy. En-route visiting Sigiriya. In the Ramayana Trail legend, even the ancient rock fortress Sigiriya itself is sometimes claimed to have been a palace of Ravana, because historically it is connected to the cult of Kuwera. Kuwera was the step brother of Ravana who became his successor as King of Lanka. The Tooth Relic Temple is the most significant Buddhist holy place in Sri Lanka. There are four shrines for gods connected to the Buddha’s Tooth Temple.

After breakfast you will be proceed to Nuwaraeliya. It is the very famous destination for the Ramayana trails. Gayathri Amman is a one of Ramayana site in Nuwaraeliya, Sri Lanka. Gayathri Pitam is said to be the place from where King Ravana’s son Meghanath propitiated Lord Shiva with penance and worship and in turn was granted super natural powers by the mighty god. Sita Amman Temple believes that sita spent most of the time during her captivity on the island of Lanka. After she refused to stay in Ravana’s magnificent palace she was transferred to Ashoka Vatika or Ashoka Vana where she lived under Ashoka trees. There are remarkable holes in the rocks at the river bank believed to be footprints of Lord Hamunan.

Day 06 :
Nuwaraeliya

• Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple in Ramboda

Ramboda is an area, where the forces of Rama’s gather to fight against King Ravana. This temple was built by the Chinmaya mission of Sri Lanka and dedicated to Hanuman. This temple houses for 16 feel height statue of Hanuman.

Day 07 :
Airport

After the breakfast at the hotel check out and proceed to airport after spending a memorable time in this island.
